Stories of Resilience has partnered with local Elementary School Silver Lake to bring Southeast Asian culture to their Second Annual Multicultural Night.

We were invited to Silver Lake’s Natural Leader’s meetings to help plan their multicultural night and encourage families to participate and represent their cultural heritage. A few meetings in, Stories of Resilience learned that there was no Southeast Asian representation. With our push to include Southeast Asian countries and its diverse heritage, we successfully brought multiple countries proudly representing Southeast Asian heritage to Silver Lake’s multicultural night. These countries included Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore.
